"I have been listed on the website since this past November. I came across the website during a Career Builders job search. I thought "what a wonderful way to get your resume out there for dentist to see!" As opposed to knocking down doors and personally handing a resume to the front office personel. It's great for them to see you make the effort and put a face with a name but you often wonder if it ever got past the first person you gave it to. Did it just get tossed aside or filed away? This is a great way for dentists and their office managers to personally review your resume when THEY need it. If the timing is off when you give it to the front office, then the dentist may never see it and post a listing later for employment needs and you may never see their listing. It also eliminates a middle man who is contracted to charge the dentist more than they are paying the hygienist to work for that day, if it is a temporary postion. Wouldn't the dentist rather pay the hygienist directly? Cut out the middle man? I feel it is a great opportunity for both the employee and the employer to use eDentist.com. I was contacted by an office in Castleton within a week of posting my resume.
